A NEW COMPOSITION : FAKE URGES - THEME OF THE TRACK IS TEMPTAION

I made the image with photoshop brushes, it is quite large at 5 MB. The track only uses one sample at the end and is a bell sound. Drumming was done using a Korg Pad - first time I have used a pad for drumming. Also it was made using Ableton Live 8 - this software is good as Cubase and Reason 4.

I have added a comment to the song in the MP3 TAG.

Also I have upgraded the RAM in my CPU for 30 pounds. So it is good news for my music.

Also I have got a M-Audio midi keyboard (with velocity sensitive keys) which has got a much needed pitch and modulation wheel.

Also a midi control, and drum pad from KORG.

So this is the last track with my old Yamaha keyboard. So if u make an album with these songs, this song would mark the end of the album.

The most downloaded song for this month was Fear Of The heart. Check out my masterpiece i.e Thinking Symphony, which is over one hours long and a homage to the classical symphony, most notably Schubert's Symphonys: emphasis on flow of melody. A track to lie down to in the evening and think about one's life.

ANOTHER DROP IN THE DESERT

I thought I'd do an electric guitar track, though my efforts have been a bit lame, but with this guitar solo I go all the way, it has also been mixed:

I have included the track in an uncompressed form as it was digitally recorded straight to the computer, and remixed in Cubase which also did some of the sound editing for Lord Of The Rings. There is an interesting doc in the bonus disc that talks about the sounds they used such as a cow mooing slowed down achieved the correct sound for the talking trees! Lair a PS3 game also has great uncompressed sound, but more it has a 40 track music box! U also get a decent flying game, but it is a cheap way to add some great uncompressed music to one's music collection.

RIAA Demands End to Unauthorized Humming, Whistling

San Francisco, Calif. (SatireWire.com) — After using the courts to keep Napster and MP3.com from freely distributing music over the Internet, the Recording Industry Association of America today asked a federal judge to stop people from humming or whistling copyrighted songs in public. The RIAA also asked for $300 million in damages from the estimated 22 million drunken men who think banging out the opening drum beat to "Wipeout" is a good way to impress women in bars. 

"Anyone who publicly hums or whistles is disseminating copyright-protected music and thereby infringing on our artists' rights," said RIAA spokesman Janet Fogerty. "Also, we don't like it when the wind blows. It sounds too much like the beginning to Elton John's 'Funeral for a Friend.'" 

Free speech advocates were outraged over the RIAA's action, but women generally applauded. "Most of the guys I know can't drum Wipeout when they're sober, let alone drunk," said Helen Kurtz, a 22-year-old from Manhattan. LINK
