This was the very first album I ever bought in vinyl, at the tender age of 12. So this is the natural choice for a remix album. Taking a break from Art Noise, as I have made 5 albums which you can download (see first post). All of my songs have been ordered together by theme rather then concept, instead of making an album from concept as The Beatles famously did, I had these 50 or so music tracks, so I decided to work out the best order in respect to each theme of the album.

I did find a bug with this. The wave file had a click in it. Though the track had no click recorded at the end. It seems to happen every time I move wave from Reason To Cubase. I spent a whole day thinking about this, and I decided it was some kind of bug, as I am probably the only person that exports Reason To Cubase.It must be about hidden data in the Wave file, so I converted the wave to Flac, and back to wave, which I know for a fact strips the wave file of all hidden data - it worked.

This was done very quickly as I am busy organising all my tracks to albums. So everything can be downloaded in one zip! It uses very light vocal, and it was mastered in a pro manner. The start was done with a sampler instrument that I made, perhaps 2 years ago. I also wrote this poem:

NOTES

I included a guitar sample in part 1 after about one minute, which was made with my own guitar.

These tracks should be among my best, considering how much time I spent on them.

These tracks have both been mastered, in a separate process to mixing.

The tracks are about duality, focusing more on male and female duality. I do not believe that men are from mars and women are from venus, as the saying goes.....I guess.

Part 2 starts off with a sample, which was written at work in even moments, which I later developed using 5 classical instruments. Though the sample is only 2 measures long.

Notes On Experimentaion Of Art Noise 26-1-2010

Idea of a sureal table moving on the cover with a lamp.

I turned this pratical idea to a theoretical idea.

Then there was the idea of the track being like a house.

Playing each sample for 30 secs, as a house would be built - one part at a a time.

Make the track like a film without a sountrack. How would I make a film without music using only music?

How would the concept of Art Noise change?

How do ideas and philosophy express themselves in music? Is this to do with the limitations of perception of music?

Instead of an ambient soundtrack. Though the track is Winners And Losers Part 2, but I have changed so much in the past two weeks, it should have a unique title.

I made the image with photoshop brushes, it is quite large at 5 MB. The track only uses one sample at the end and is a bell sound. Drumming was done using a Korg Pad - first time I have used a pad for drumming. Also it was made using Ableton Live 8 - this software is good as Cubase and Reason 4.

I have added a comment to the song in the MP3 TAG.

Also I have upgraded the RAM in my CPU for 30 pounds. So it is good news for my music.

Also I have got a M-Audio midi keyboard (with velocity sensitive keys) which has got a much needed pitch and modulation wheel.

Also a midi control, and drum pad from KORG.

So this is the last track with my old Yamaha keyboard. So if u make an album with these songs, this song would mark the end of the album.

The most downloaded song for this month was Fear Of The heart. Check out my masterpiece i.e Thinking Symphony, which is over one hours long and a homage to the classical symphony, most notably Schubert's Symphonys: emphasis on flow of melody. A track to lie down to in the evening and think about one's life.

I thought I'd do an electric guitar track, though my efforts have been a bit lame, but with this guitar solo I go all the way, it has also been mixed:

I have included the track in an uncompressed form as it was digitally recorded straight to the computer, and remixed in Cubase which also did some of the sound editing for Lord Of The Rings. There is an interesting doc in the bonus disc that talks about the sounds they used such as a cow mooing slowed down achieved the correct sound for the talking trees! Lair a PS3 game also has great uncompressed sound, but more it has a 40 track music box! U also get a decent flying game, but it is a cheap way to add some great uncompressed music to one's music collection.

(SatireWire.com) — After using the courts to keep Napster and MP3.com from freely distributing music over the Internet, the Recording Industry Association of America today asked a federal judge to stop people from humming or whistling copyrighted songs in public. I was inspired by the b-side to make a 3 track single. Track a was a standard track made in Reason 4. The intro melody was written at work, the main melody was improvised. Interesting though in side b, the speed has been altered and side a completely remixed. I have also added samples of the TV show The Water Margins, which was a childhood favourite. I have also used my own voice in side b. Side c is a classical track that I composed using 4 instruments in Finale 2007. I call my music ART NOISE, it is basically a context for my imagination,

I did use 2 drum samples for this one, but the skill is in mixing them and making my own sample from them, but the first drum sample at the start of the track is my own creation (made from nothing) this track also includes a bass sample at the end, which I made.

The tune in the middle was something I composed in October 08, in a midi editor, then I finished the track in Reason 4. This will sound better the second time you listen to it...trust me!

the image has karmic doubt 2 on it, if you look at the center.

I believe that this tune does capture a confused state, which was my aim - but a confusion with pathos. I did do a bass line for this melody, which is a new thing for me here. This is about a sea in confusion, but not a storm, large waves are represented by the drum sample that I used, how it comes and goes in the melody, normally a drum beat will stay very constant during the track, but because of this this, I am able to use it in a way to represent a wave of confusion.

I have reposted this to add the uncompressed version, which is 44.000Hz 16 bit. This is a slow start to the Karmic Doubt project, Karmic Doubt 1 has a mantra pattern that is repeated, which sets the parameters for the other 3 tracks. If you play the other tracks without playing this first track the other tracks will sound like something is assumed, it is better to play this in the correct order, there is also an increase in temp0 from track 1 to track 4.

NEW RELEASES

U2 are(have) releasing(released) remastered versions of their albums, with bonus discs, a favourite of mine is War - New Years Days, though not as cute as arch enemies Duran Duran, but early U2 albums have an aesthetic charm.

To celebrate these re-releases this blog is giving a bootleg version of Bullet The Blue Sky of U2 playing in Berlin, what is of interest in the track is that Bono sings When Johnny Comes Marching Home at the end of it which was also played by The Clash who kind off inspired U2, though Joe Strummer was a call for arms for many other inspired dudes:

To master the track I used a leveler to balance the sound using WaveLab, and then master the track with Final Plug 5.

side b

The purpose of a b-side was to have more freedom from my normal sound i.e Art Noise, and try to have more fun with the mix, and perhaps add an extra element or 2 to the tracks. Such as the intro which uses a quote from a film by Bernardo Bertolucci, the other samples I used were from a Beatles concert bootleg which features them in some show called the Ed Sullivan show, from Twist and Shout, though I used an uncompressed version of the song, and sampled it with Recycle, and the mixing was done in Cubase. The song was mastered with Final Plug 5. I also have decided to keep the unmastered version of the track...

You can download this free program, which has not been updated for VISTA.

The program installed well on my laptop, and ran with no problems. I used XP professional.
It also shows a graph which displays the noise/signal ratio of your signal, and other signals.

In a semi-detached house, hackers are less of a problem, you do not want more than a weak signal. And you will want the signal sent more from the centre of the house. If a hacker is using a program to hack your system, there is no point using WEP, because he will be able to crack it anyway.

It may not support all wireless cards, but it is free and tells you if anybody is using your access point, see bottom and it tells the number of AP's connected.

so what is FLAC?

Flac is basically wave compressed to about halve the size, though it does not play in media player, or burn in Nero 7, or in the ordinary version of I-Tunes, but it does play with Winamp and burn with VSO copytodvd.

The right kind of blank dvd is +R, as it the most compatible.

Though cheaper dvd increases the risk of dvd rot.

How does dvd rot look like, where is it?

It exists on the outer rim of the dvd, so using cheaper dvd will decrease the stability of the recording. It looks cloudy, that's when it is visible.

So the best way to back up your hard-drive is an external hard-drive, and not dvd.

The silver freecom version (500Giga) has a free back up program, which is quite good, so you could have a second external hard-drive which backs up your external hard-drive, and internal drive. The second back up should not be kept in the same place as the first hard-drive.

So what about dual-layer dvd or double layer, the main interest in this seems to be for backing up XBOX360 games! I do not have this console.

The truth is that dual-layer dvd does not work, even the Phillips dual-layer, the inventors of CD technology. The best, and only dual-layer dvd that did work was Verbatim DVD+R 2.4x Double Layer and is also the most expensive. But since these are being made in India and not Singapore, the quality has fallen, read more. So there is no point in having a dual layer burner, if dual layer dvd does not work. So you have a lot of good old reviews for Verbatim, but the new ones talk about coasters, or failed burns.

Also many DVD +R dual-layer reviews are made after the dvd has been burned, and not a few months afterwards, so the archival nature of the DVD+R dual-layer is not tested!

Even the Sony dual-layer seems to be using cheaper materials, so it still may be a few years in the future before stable dvd +r dual layer is available, and possibly a decade or 2 before stable blue-ray blanks are released, unless you have enough money to engage your curiosity.

So the question is, what brand do companies use for dual-layer purchased dvd. What brand was used for films like Lord Of The Rings...or do they use expensive dvd writing technology.

With this update, you get internet radio, just click it at network to set it,
the first channel is The 80s channel at 128kbps/44.1khz which sounds better
than my radio alarm clock. There is also no jumping in the signal, which is quite
good as the signal is sent from downstairs, and I am upstairs.

On Podcasts

I normally save RSS files, but I can also play these with less jumping, and this is the fat PSP - a joke. I never really got into podcasts, though they are managed well on I-Tunes, but playing Podcasts on the PSP makes it look and feel like a radio, and add on visualisations. A well updated Podcast is Blast The Right, or Slice Of SciFi. Though using the Linux Laptop with a podcast playing, will compete for internet bandwidth.

For slim PSP only, a tv recorder:
this is bad news for me as I have the fat PSP...but I can watch internet tv on Linux Ubuntu, using CROSSOVER, by CodeWeavers to install Internet Explorer, and then goto IPlayer home page, works like YouTube. Though I do not watch tv in the morning, as it can dull the mind, though it does not seem to have that effect after noon: this is more evidence that we think visually, though music does not dullen the senses but has the opposite effect when listening to music before noon, but a lesser effect when after noon (this is also interesting because concerts occur in the Evening). Which suggests that we are more visual creatures than sonic creatures, and can be related to how we see the day, or consider the day in the morning.

I remember once one computer that is connected upstairs could not connect to the net, this can occur with different reasons, such as adding encryption to your network.

So I simply ran this FREE program which reset the connections:

I admit, u are only supposed to use it if your connection stops, but I have also used it on my main computer, because the internet browser was a little slow, it did the trick!

The program also sets WINSOCK, this simply means Window Sockets, I did this too. Winsock is the software that is used by Microsoft to create your internet connection.

This second program (which is FREE) increases the speed of your internet connection, it automatically backs up your previous settings and stores them on the desktop, just click optimize, leave the other settings alone:

GFTP - A FTTP CLIENT

With this you can upload files to your site. I had no problem using this, you just type in your password, fttp address, and username and it worked first time for me. I did get an upload speed of 25 Kbs which is more than with Filezilla. The last update for GFTP was in 2003, but it works beyond expectations. What about security? If you run it a second time it asks for the password, and remembers the other info on your site, so I typed in the password and it worked. The person that made this software, also has a FlickR account.

I am soorie there are no reviews for registry cleaners, as Linux does not need them, obviously some things go wrong, but it is easy to forgive LInux, as it does not really waste your time. Though there is a anti-virus software at AVG it does install and run on Ubuntu, but it has never found any virus. Also there is a Pro-Panda version, but it did not really work. Anyway these are not software 10, is it a de-frag, nope because Linux does not need a defrag. It is so easy to forgive when something goes wrong, as it has Firefox and Opera (widjets-much better than Firefox Widjets), and a few less known browsers like Mozilla, and I have an early version of I.E installed by CrossOver which is not free but it installs XP Office Professional; which I use to write mie book, The Forbidden Truth, though many will find the book a bit heavy, so I have this lighter blog too...

Software 10 is a multiplayer game that works, there is also a 3-d Tron game which works but they have installed the early version which is not used in the multiplayer. Though bz flag does work, a multiplayer tank game:

Though the beauty of Ubuntu is that it downloads what you want and installs it, it shows you a list of programs and u simply choose what u want to download. Though I do not use the latest version of Linux, it is still Ubuntu LTS meaning LONG TERM SUPORT!

It also has an option to install WINE, it has nothing to do with drinking, nor is it a catalogue of wine drinks. With this you can run Window programs, just right-click the .exe file and choose the option to run with WINE.

I did run the best Periodic-Table Windows program, with WINE, and I installed it on my Desktop, then I went into the folder, and then I right-clicked the .exe file and I choice the option to run with WINE, it worked, but it was very bland, with a basic calculator for measuring substances. Not as good as the LInux version called Kalzium.

SOFTWARE 8 - JUNE 07

Dell have released some computers with Ubuntu installed. I guess this will mean greater driver compatibility. Though wireless does work with Ubuntu on my Advent laptop, but I had tested this with a free live CD, before I installed it. So check first if wireless works, before you install it.

Cute looking program, which will bring some retro memories from your past. Though many will find it totally useless, it is fun to play with.

It was not a revolutionary idea, that different elements have different sizes, but from this it was easy to see that the larger the molecule the less stable it becomes, and this is what atomic physics is about - it also means that no new elements can exist anywhere in this universe. IDEA 7 - APRIL 07

So there is a problem with streaming music, as many streaming sites use WMA. Though with crossover u can install windows software like XP Office Pro which does not install on even XP Home, also quicktime which is intergrated with Firefox. So is there a site that works easily for streaming music on Linux, yes - try GARAGE LAND, which is from APPLE, who use a derived form of Linux for the cool, but very expensive MAC.

SOFTWARE 6 - MAR 07

One has to say that Opera works really well, it simply starts where I finish off, and has never failed in this, I do not need to save sessions as one has to on XP. It even remembers how far down the page you where at, also the Widgets give one more power in the Linux network, such as weather programs. Though we have FireFox, the smaller add-ons are less attractive and creative, I guess FireFox and Opera will have there own built in security to protect passwords. Other lesser browsers are included such as Mozilla, and Galeon. The downside is Abode Flash, and Java are not fully updated, so you will not be able to play alot of the online games, but the Ubuntu games collection does offer a fully working SNES emulator! ...it is a simple game, but it does appear to improve my game on a real table tennis table.

GAIM, which replaces Internet messenger, just imagine a no hassle version of Messenger that uses FireFox instead of Explorer. I believe the hotmail passwords are stored on your computer, but I guess the less we know the less the hacker will know? A lot of people do use this!

SOFTWARE 4 - MAR 07

I admit I did own a SNES (still have it, up in the attic) which was a popular games system. Life is nowadays in such a way, that one has to be game to it - one can get caught up in things. So you get this too free, and it works 100 percent, you can even define the keys, I have tested it on maybe 5 games, and there were no problems. The great thing about Ubuntu, is that it gives you a directory under applications, and you just tick what you want to install, basically they work it out for you. Also the computer does not appear to slow down, when you are clicking all these programs. So where do you get the games for this emulator? You do not have to register, nor do you extract the games from their zip files, the emulator reads the games from the zip file, to get games link.

Blender 3d Modeller, it works with LWO files which are simple 3d files. I am a complete beginner to this, but I did manage some success with LWO files, which are a good starting point and easy to download for free from some sites. One has to realise that 3d models are very different to pictures, but basically they are programs instead of pictures. Though there is a lot of support for this program, but you will need to spend maybe a month going through it.link

Not as good a picture editor as PhotoShop or could compete with PaintShop, or whatever - I get mixed up. So u know its free, including the Ubuntu. To demonstrate the filters I have created 2 images one from Royo(see left), and another I created from no image ie. a shape. It can also deal with layers, and has a magic pen, which can be used to remove a picture within a picture, by deleting the images around the image:

From the colour image I wanted to take out the freshness of it, but to do this by making the picture more nostalgic, then I used the lens filter to bring out the image. The second is an abstract, which displays the uniqueness of the effects.

TIP 1 - WIRELESS CONNECTION STOPS SOMETIMES

Go into the browser which shows the wireless connections options. Normally type admin for administrator and admin for password, though for Netgear type admin also for the password. See the DNS server addresses - yes there are 2 - click basic settings (for Netgear) and type in these 2 DNS - the primary has a lower number at the end.

The connection stops because the modem is trying to work out the DNS addresses if you type them in the modem-browser it makes a more stable connection for wireless.

Though do not type in your IP address, because most people have more than one! You can have one address called a static address, but you have to pay more for this.

With subscriptions to TV services, a lot of programmes are repeated, so you can easily watch something if you have missed it. Though with 4od you can watch any programme from last week on CHANNEL 4 for free. There is very little hassle in it, you just need an email, and password with no card details. Though programmes older than one week will cost £2.00. You can also download programmes to watch later when you are off the net, though there is a date limit to watch the programme, or you can watch the programmes through streaming using 4od, but for this you need broadband. Free television has never looked better, other channels may follow like BBC 1, which can only be a good thing; as I missed Glastonbury yesterday which was shown on BBC as I was just so busy; a Glastonbury DVD will probably be released. The quality is quite decent on 4od and it does use Media Player DRM, which checks your computer so it will not work on LInux. No person has cracked DRM yet, but there are ways to get around it such as

Paul McCartney's new album is out, people were surprised to see it on Emusic. Some even downloaded it because they were so surprised to see it on Emusic, even before they previewed it. I actually did listen to the previews, as I had seen him on Jools Holland last Friday, I found it too mediocre, but who really cares, I admit I am a fan of his albums right up to Paul McCartney 2, go for this one instead, and revisit the early albums. I'll WAIT A BIT LONGER and then play it again, it may sound even better. I believe he did find some talent from Norway for his album, there is a Norwegian TV spot on YouTube, where else. Make sure you go into options and change the keys. This may be a little confusing, but just try everything. Say q and a for up and down, o and p for left and right, and n and m for example.

There are 2 portals, keep both portals set to joystick, and change the options below to keyboard, u might as well do this for both portals.

You can play multiplayer with the games, or rather than finding a game, you can play with another person who you know, and have decided to play the same game.

So how did the programmer do this?

Look inside that folder for the CCS64 and you will find this dll:

this is the part of the program that does the multiplayer bit, though it is a different program.

Also the multiplayer will depend on what versions others are using, but u will find that many people are using other Emulators such as Mame which also use kailleraclient. Many do not use the...

Look at these review from AMAZON on VISTA UPGRADE: don't be shy.

You start the page, and you here all these specifications of VISTA and if it is something unimaginable in ambition. Then you hear, I mean read about these poor people that have had nightmares with VISTA.

A few weeks ago some person was complaining that it did not work, and u have to register VISTA, people put comments on the review that u need 1 GIGA of RAM, and a decent graphics card, they said read the specification, and it is mentioned in the specifications.

I looked at the page again 1 week later, and now you have some person who has written a review who has 2 GIGA RAM specifications that goes beyond VISTA specifications. It took this person 7 hours to install, then he could not even open his music file! So start it before u go to sleep, and don't peep in the middle of the night.

Now the comments have changed, obviously they cannot complain that he has not the right specifications, but now the comments say you should do a clean install, and not try to upgrade VISTA UPGRADABLE!

The above 2 comments should be found, but they are always changing, the latest review I have pasted at the end of the post, a person who has got VISTA to work says it's too slow! Though some person with 3 GIGA RAM says it is fast, I guess so?

I have tried to find some comparison with VISTA and XP but all I can find is that it is better, and I cannot find anything else, but the De-Fragmenter is still too slow. So VISTA looks better, but it would look worse if you use WINDOWBLINDS ON XP, where you can change the look very easily, and even replace folders with pictures of your choice using the ICON DEVELOPER, every few days I change the look, so the new look of VISTA means nothing. Also as it is has high specifications your computer will be slower, at least XP was a strong improvement over WINDOWS 2000, with USB 2.0

I have Intel Dual Core computer with 2GB DDR2 memory with 300GB Hard Disk Drive running Windows Vista.
* It is super slow and takes a LONG time (~40 seconds) to open any of Office-2007 application (It used to take close to 2 seconds on windows-xp/office-2003). Even with beefed up system my system comes to halt with this defective overloaded software (which does same as office-2003).
* Second bad part, Vista is loaded with LOT of Digital Right Management softwares, which does a lot of encryption/decryption even for the simplest task like playing audio. This causes system to slow down considerably. All this is forcefully fed to you on special request from Holywood studios... Now the question remains, why should I have to spend a heck lot more to get really poor performance at the request of movie studios. Answer is Microsoft wants your computer to be controlled by Hollywood studios even if you have paid for your software.

1080 Hi-Definition LCD televisions are just appearing in stores!

1080p means progressive scan at 1080 lines, which at the moment does not exist, as Hi-Def and Blue-Ray work really at 1080i, though are capable of 1080p. Though a false progressive scan can be created from interlaced signals using de-interlacing methods Bob, or Weave. watch more

In my thinking 1080i offers the same quality as 540p because in one frame you are seeing the same detail as 2 frames interlaced, which is close to normal progressive scan on a DVD, as a PAL (European TV) can display 576 line, rather than the American NTSC. watch more

So will the progressive scan be 576p in Europe.

This research suggests that if you watch the 1080 0R 720 TV at 2.7 meters u will not be able to tell the difference!

Having come down squarely in favor of 50 Hz progressive distribution, the question of which progressive format, 1080p/50 or 720p/50, remained. A series of tests conducted by the BBC revealed that the median viewing distance for a large flat screen in the home would be about 2.7 meters (8.9 feet), a number remarkably similar to the one the BBC measured 15 years ago, and to the RCA Labs Lechner Distance. Further tests on perceived detail led to the conclusion that 720p/50 would saturate the eye with detail for screens up to 50 inches at the representative viewing distance. 1080p/50 would, then, provide more detail than necessary for the screen sizes and viewing distances that would probably exist in European homes.

A survey of display manufacturers indicated to the committee that the "core" or "design target" flat-panel display for television should be the "Wide XGA" panel, a 768-line progressively scanned display. This is a good fit with the above finding that 720p would saturate the eye with detail in the screen sizes and viewing distances expected to exist in European homes.

Another question considered was what the implications would be if, as one manufacturer and several Japanese broadcasters stated, the core flat-panel display becomes a 1080p display rather than a Wide XGA one. If people were watching 1080p displays and 1080p DVDs were prevalent, would 720p broadcasts look inadequate? It was pointed out that if watched at the 2.7-meter viewing distance, the difference between 1080p and 720p would not be noticeable. It would, however, be noticeable if viewed at closer distances.

The committee concluded that it was best to begin HDTV broadcasting with the adequate, lower bit-rate 720p system. If receivers and set-top boxes were able to decode formats up to and including 1080p, this would permit broadcasters to move to 1080p broadcasting if the alternative scenario develops.

It should also be pointed out that the anticipated compression efficiencies that may be achieved with MPEG-4 AVC would likely permit 1080p/50 broadcasting, although on the other hand, 720p/50 would ensure fewer coding artifacts as well as lower emission bit-rates.

The conclusion of this work is that the EBU Technical Committee recommends progressive scanning for HD delivery for a number of reasons, the principal ones being that it obviates the requirement for interlace-to-progressive conversion at the display, and that it makes the delivery system more future-proof. The EBU Project Group B/TQE has concluded that a single standard, 720p/50, could be chosen to deliver HDTV-quality images to large flat-panel displays, providing the lowest delivery bit-rate requirement for images that satisfy the demands of the viewer, assuming the Wide XGA display.

Amazon set to launch online music store

Amazon.com, the internet retailer, wants to launch an online music store next month to challenge Apple and is working on plans to sell music with reduced protection against copyright infringement.

The internet giant has approached all the music majors in the past fortnight and said that it wanted to sell unprotected MP3 songs in May as it tries to follow Apple in shaking up the music industry.

However, it remains unclear if Amazon will meet its deadline. The internet retailer has been trying, unsuccessfully, over 18 months to break into the market dominated by Apple iTunes, which has a share of about 80 per cent.

Selling music without copy protection is controversial, because it makes digitally downloaded songs easier to copy. At the beginning of the month EMI broke ranks and signed an agreement with Apple to provide unprotected songs for a higher price.

Apple and the big companies have exerted a lot of pressure on AllOfMp3.Com the grandest of all Russian Mp3 sites, which was unofficially the 2nd biggest seller in the UK. They use a download manager, which includes different formats, such as Mp4 and Mp3 at different rates. Paypal has refused to be used by any Russian sites, also Chronopay, a respectable credit company which has an address at the World Trade Center has also refused to allow credit cards to be used by Allofmp3.com. I admit I did lose some copy protected music I downloaded from Virgin a while back which used WMA data protection, for music is limited to your system as long as you do not change your system, I still have these albums backed up, but I cannot play them. Though the best and cheapest music site is the American E-Music which serves independent labels, which is the closest in price to the Russian Mp3 sites. Though copyright in Russia is different, I believe it is about some law that changed in the early 70's, though they have said that they will pay the music groups financial compensation...Though Amazon as a DVD company appears to be a success, with remastered DVD rentals available for rental, though only once did they give me an original version and not a remastered version, which is not too bad considering that remastered versions of films are not available from other DVD rentals.

I should stop here, but I also got into Fireball XL 5, as I had fallen for the theme music, there was also a popular series called Space 1999, which has not aged well like Star Wars.

Though I am not a big fan of the 'new' Star Trek series except perhaps Voyager. Also the Dune series is quite good, though the film is lacking though it works visually; the second series The Children Of Dune was very poor, but lacked the all star cast in the first series. Babylon 5 was quite good, and the few films that followed were quite interesting, though I guess very few people looked at these films. The new Doctor Who is a torture to watch, the old series of Doctor Who are much better, though it may seem I am wrong, but it is the extra bonus features that makes the old Doctor Who series such a success, in some DVD's the scenes have been changed by better effects. The best Doctor Who being Tom Baker, also The Time Machine was a good film about time travel, I even liked the new version, though it is not considered as a great film. Also Star Wars may have the best theme, but Event Horizon used music by Orbital and has been released in a special DTS version. I think that covers Space War, but you can download it from this site:

So net 3.0 in a few years, or even 2008 will further the communication, so how the net's communication affects real communication, and how the affect of that communication, that is virtual communication affects communication a second time. Eusing Free Registry Cleaner

Quite a few people seem impressed with this cleaner, and it is free.

I first ran 6 Pro registry cleaners, and then CcLEANER which is free, and it found 98 registry errors.

Though I have made a partition, and installing as many programs as I can in the partition, the computer was having trouble starting up.

As I had installed many music programs.

The only snag is it asks for registration when u start it.

GRAPHIC CARDS

With audio cards, they all fit in the slots at the back of the computer, see them metal plates at the back bottom, they simply slide out, and you just push it. Well graphic cards are a little more difficult to put in, see where your monitor is connected to your computer, yep that's the graphics card. And the slots are different too than the slots for audio cards, but wait before you buy a graphics card, there are 2 different types

So what is the difference well, if you buy a £100 AGP 250 RAM card, you may have to give it more power. The way I did it, was to take out the cd drive, which is the lesser drive, and re-direct the power supply to the card. You will not have such a problems with PCI cards. Also different cards will have varying picture quality, though ASUS has a special program that improves details.

AUDIO CARDS

The truth of the matter, is not change, unless you are obliged to. There are 3 reasons to change audio cards:

For games, as some games have 5.1 effects and they are made to interact with cards. See card inlay for which card the game recommends, it is as simple as. Where do they fit in? How do you take the old card out?

This is good news, the old card is built in i.e Realteck and it has input settings on the front and back of the computer. It is very simple, there is no hassle, and most sound recorders such as 3d mp3 recorder are made for these cards. The truth is that if you change the card, you have to change settings in say Skype, this is difficult as the input settings would have changed, perhaps to hi-fi plugs, big hassle. You will not be able to use them simple, and easy to use audio plugins(for headphone and mic) and you have to worry about driver updates.

You have to note that game audio cards really can create some hassle, but then again it is an easy way to set up a 5.1 system. The true fan would probably connect a digital output to an AV amp, which connects to proper, or large speakers, starter price for a reasonable 5.1 set is about £100.00. Then again try a dvd player, with progressive scan, they have a digital output, and you can use the progressive scan in some hi-definition LCD screens, forget plasma.

With the built in sound card, you will have problems connecting a midi keyboard. You will hear big sound delays when you hit a key, the normal choice is M-Audio Audiophile 2496, which actually has midi connectors, and even have coaxial digital audio output, but, but, but

will it work with your dvd software, I have not tested, but the midi works great, and it has a great sound quality, so you may want it for sound quality and at a price of £50.00 it is cheap but it is hard to understand - it is not easy.

Help me to make a choice? I am lost?

It does connect with audacity, which is the best sound recorder, and is a free sound recorder. I have tried other sound editors, such as wavelab, but it just can cannot complete with removong noise as well as audacity (though it is a heavy weight audio editor), it is the sound card that records the sound, and the software simply gives instructions to the sound card. IT IS FREE TOO! YEAH YEP! It does work with M-Audio Audiophile 2496. Audacity works well with Guitar Rig, if you are recording guitar.

you buy a new computer, it works well, you install some programs, and then you notice the computer is slowing down. What do you do? Like millions of people u try a registry cleaner such as the excellent CCleaner (free), but it simply slows down the more programs u add.

What do you do?

You create a partition space, say called AA and instead of installing your programs in the C directory you store them in the AA directory, in a folder that you have created like Program Files.

This makes it possible to have as many program as u want and the computer runs the same speed when you bought it. I admit I have been doing this for a while, say if you have 200G, you could create two 50G partitions.

Which software have u tested?

Paragon Partition Manager

It's very cheap. and when u purchase it you get the program (which could not create the partition for me) but if you try the other program that u get free with it, which is a boot up disc, and start the computer again with this boot cd. You have to work with it, but generally talking what u do is create a partition, and move disc space to that partition, the computer will recognize this partition when it starts, or if it does not, just start the computer again, and where u see C: U WILL SEEE your partition too which u named.

So you could not work it out, is their an easier way? Yes, simply install the programs in your external hard drive, under a file which is called say, Program Files. The only hassle is that u have to put on the external hard drive before u can run the program, or a registry program.

PSP UPDATE

The new PSP update, adds camera functionality to the PSP,
THOUGH the camera is not for sale in Amazon yet. You
also have a few visualisations added to the music
player, which is quit neat. And there is an added functionality
where you can enter the stored psp film anywhere u want.
Also Nintendo have released another console,
which is more suited to a social playing using motion sensors,
and Sony release the PS3 in March in Europe.

You can download some Christmas tunes which were made
with Garritan Sample software, which I used for a recent track.
Though I have ordered a better CPU,
so hopefully it will be powerful enough to make a track
with 3 instruments, if I can do this with the new to come CPU
in a few days I would be happy. By creating
3 music focuses I feel I can create something,
so their is a creative choice in this.

All u do is drag the picture to Microsoft Word, and you can also type what u like next to the picture.

The trick is to use the margin markers at the top of Microsoft Word, save the document if you have worked out the correct settings. You can also vary the size of the picture in Word (up).

What can u say, at this price. But the beauty of it in my eyes is the CD-ROM, well it was till I found out that it has 'only' German with no English Subtitles(this is a bad error in English). See this amazing review, which asks for anybody that knows where he can get them from? Well I don't know, but the Opera translations can be found on the net. Here are a few more translations. Or you open the PDF file in the free PDF reader, and save it as a HTML file, and copy and paste it into Google Translator. Though it is a machine translator, one has to wonder, they have improved. It is a nice thing to put on a shelf.

Rock wise, The Sisters Of Mercy have been remastered, with bonus tracks(impressive), including the Cure. Fun-da-mental has been banned, with controversial lyrics in the UK.

Retro group for today is Gang Of 4

who have influenced U2 and Nirvana, with lyrics to the leftish in the fashion of The Clash. Many acts do appear to have been heavily influenced by this group.

SOFTWARE STORY

The arrest of 15 PWA members (myself included) occurred as a result of a PWA member who went by the name of Shadow_M. He contacted the Chicago FBI to inform them of the existence of Sentinel, one of PWA’s oldest sites. The FBI made a deal with the Sentinel site operators. They would not prosecute if they cooperated and helped to build a case against the PWA members who used their site. To this day, I have no idea why Shadow_M made that call. Perhaps it was malicious? Maybe he had other legal troubles prompting his use of a bargaining tool? Or did he have an epiphany, and felt it would atone for his past “wrong doings?” I have no idea. However, I am fairly certain that if not for these events, I may never have realized that not only were my activities criminal, they were just plain wrong. For the first time, I was not proud of my accomplishments. I was regretful, and I was terrified. What have I done? What is going to happen to my life as a result? Do I really deserve to go to prison for this?

As Reason has a certain sound, it is very attractive for composing. The sound is also important, consider Studio one in Jamaica, which has a very intoxicating and pure sound, the Rolling Stones went there, including The Clash, afterwards Joe Strummer noted how well the piano was out of tune which suited the sound. Consider next The Sun Sessions by Elvis which is noted by many to be his best work which RCA did try to emulate with songs such as Hound Dog. This is a good start to music theory, perhaps a good end too.

The lessons are free, and are descriptive in style which helps when you try to learn something. And they are in 6 languages, also you can download them, and run them through Firefox as they are in HTML which means they will run on Linux, XP and Apple computers.

Music theory was constructed like a tree that grows, but knowing music theory can help one to keep interested in music. Though music is developing, language is not evolving or developing.

Mozart once said that teaching music is about repetition, but he is also quoted 'the lightness is very heavy'; maybe this does describe music theory - though my interest in music was a cue to stop thinking, and feeling, though music theory is not the language of feelings, it is a language of feeling. As one can be happy, but be in a small pool, but this happiness is the same happiness as one from a bigger pool, it is all subjective: as it is not affirmed envy or jealousy can arise, as is the fluid nature of feelings. So tunes are not an analysis of feelings, but a reflection of this, so tunes are not creating by only looking at notes, but one has to look at oneself, because feelings are as relative as notes.

The roots of the tree in music is the notation, or mapping of the music sheets. Then follows...chords after notes...minor scale(3 types) from major scale(1 type). But is all about intervals...the confusion comes from the fact black keys are less in number than white keys on a piano, why is this? WELL C FOLLOWS B IN HALVE (LIKE F AFTER E) THE DISTANCE THAT THE OTHER KEYS FOLLOW EACH OTHER.No note exists between B and C on the piano, if it did there would be too many keys on the piano, as we also do not like to feel jumbled or have too many mixed emotions, we like to feel simple emotionally. Then comes timing which is best for 4 notes a measure, unless it is 3 and u like the Waltz! So we are taking about patterns, and each pattern changes depending on what key you start from. Though it just means say you want to play a tune, and you work out the key F does not work for the tune so you use F# instead, so it is better to not use the key F, even for chords, emotionally this can create a cosiness in the melody, a feeling of water flowing under the mill. I have never had music lessons, but such lessons can steal away one's interest in music, for there are many paths up this mountain.

How to compose

1. Choose if it is to be a happy, or sad melody.

2. If it is happy use a major scale. If it is sad use minor scale. This just means u are going to miss one or more white keys, and use black keys instead, if u start from D scale u start the tune here, you do not use the C before the D, but the C which is on the right of that D, and it could be C# too depending on the scale. You can be more general with chords because chords are basically general notes or cliches, too much may lead to bad melody. How many times have you seen the guitarist do 'such' things on the guitar, without really feeling anthing though it may look they are going deeper into the melody.

3. You can be casual with the left hand on a piano, for bass is harder to discern. For no drum set has has C and D etc drum pads, but just different sounds! As also with the lower notes on a guitar which many rock guitarists tend to go, they are harder to discern to the human ear, but they create a change in impression of the melody, as sometime a phrase is used in italics. A good example of this is the cover of 'The Man Who Sold The World' by Nirvana Unplugged, where he adds a feeling of depth in pathos by sliding the fingers down to find this other sound for the melody. Or in Ziggy Stardust From The Spiders Of Mars, where the higher tones are used with some Sience Fiction sounded plugs for the guitar to create a sense of being spaced out, consider also Trance Music, or the different expression of it...Also though on a psychological tone feelings that are very happy or sad are also difficult to discern, so the middle octave can also express more an accuracy of expression which is neither happy or sad.

4. You are not trying to make money, or create a perfect melody, but simply reflecting on your frequencies, no I mean feelings.

5. You are also writing for an instrument, examine your mood to determine which instrument you want to write for. Music programs allow you to play a song with many instruments consider the Garritan Orchestra, which has been a purchase that I have NOT regretted. fREE lESSON

6. You can listen to different scales here, this can inspire a tune, and perhaps one can find a frequency match internally.

7. Work out chords to give atmosphere. This will be about one's relationship with atmosphere, the more dry the tune the most atmosphere it needs, or thought on chords, many a rock song has passed this way through a song without a melody. Music does not need singing, especially if the tune is strong.

LAST NOTES ON MUSIC BY D THINKER

Music can never express love, singers can serve to give this illusion. Though it may discover more subtle or warm emotions, for love is simply giving.

Repition serves well in music, even tunes find timing problems resolves through repetition. Though should timing imperfections be considered as F# to F. More majestic feelings are expressed where rhythm is more important as in dance, or maches, though dance can be consideered in the classical or modern sense.
